HVAC Service Technician - McQuillan Home Services

McQuillan Home Services is a residential service company specializing in Electric, Plumbing, Heating & Air serving the Ramsey, Washington and Hennepin Counties for over 135 years. We're Minnesota's original plumbing, heating and cooling company, and have remained true to our mission of providing solid, honest work at fair, upfront prices. This past year we have doubled our plumbing team and added an electrical line of business.  We are keen to grow and provide an extensive line-up of home services to our customers

We are looking to bring on several HVAC technicians into our HVAC Service Department. We are looking for full-time members to be on our team. No experience required, but experience provides for higher pay and leadership opportunities.  Full time year round work, and we do not lay off or furlough. This is a professional business.

Will be dispatched directly from your home & work vehicle included!  

The primary duties of a Service Technician are to perform maintenance checks and services for HVAC systems. Troubleshooting various residential systems and diagnosing repair options. Safety and performance tests are conducted for each system(s) as well as checking the area for carbon monoxide and natural gas leaks. A heavy emphasis is placed on customer service. Daily tasks include the technical aspect of the job, collecting payments, giving accurate and detailed information about each home and situation, maintaining truck inventory levels, communication with homeowners about the status of their system after the service has been performed, among others.
