Siggs Air Conditioning is seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality installation, repair, and maintenance services for various HVAC systems while ensuring the best customer experiences. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, strong customer service skills, and a commitment to maintaining safety and efficiency standards.

• Technical:
  • Install, maintain, and repair various types of HVAC systems, including central air conditioning units, split systems, heat pumps, and ductless mini-split systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance and evaluations on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system malfunctions, repairing or replacing defective components as needed, and handling refrigerant according to safety and environmental guidelines.
  • Work with and understand the manufacturer's recommendations for a variety of HVAC brands, including but not limited to Trane, Carrier, Lennox, Goodman, Rheem, Ruud, and Daikin.
• Customer Service:
  • Provide best-in-class customer experiences by communicating effectively with customers and being a reliable expert for their HVAC-related concerns.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Maintain a presentable, clean, and safe work site at all times, including work vehicles.
  • Organize and clean tools, inventory, and equipment on job sites, in work vehicles, and in the warehouse.
• Administrative:
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including service reports, parts used, and recommendations for future maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, company policies, and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with Administrative Operations team members throughout each day for accurate project documentation, purchase orders, and customer expectations.
  • Stay updated on the latest HVAC technologies, industry trends, and best practices.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or HVAC certification preferred.
• Growing knowledge of HVAC systems and components, including the ability to service multiple types of AC units and brands.
• EPA Universal Certification is required.
• Growing diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent organization, effective communication (English), and quality customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record that meets commercial insurance requirements.
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the job, including lifting heavy equipment, working in confined spaces, and climbing ladders.
