Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour bonus potential (weekly pay)

Job Summary:
By working closely with the HVAC Manager the HVAC Service Technician will complete jobs on time and under budget.

HVAC Service Tech Duties/Responsibilities:

• Works alongside customer service and dispatch to ensure the overall success of the business
• Adheres to the company’s plan for resolving customer complaints quickly and favorably
• Maintains a clean, organized job site and well-inventoried truck
• Participates actively in all training exercises, morning meetings, and technical vendor training
• Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines
• Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts while reinstalling as necessary
• Oils and lubricates moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance
• Records and reports of damaged, worn, or broken parts
• Orders and installs replacement parts for machines
• Identifies the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines
• Repairs broken machines quickly and efficiently Prepare reports documenting work performed
• Cleans, organizes, inventories, stocks, and otherwise maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies

HVAC Service Tech Required Skills/Abilities:

• Develop proven track record in heating and cooling systems including the ability to draw simple diagrams and read blueprints and other diagrams
• Clean, safe driving record
• Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities
• Strong verbal and written communication
• High integrity with advanced social skills and ability to make solid connections
• Competitive individual contributor who also loves to win as a team
• Knowledge of how to establish customer rapport to ensure highest levels of satisfaction

Education and Experience:

• EPA certification with knowledge of applicable installation and venting codes
• Three to four years of HVAC experience preferred
• Residential HVCAC experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs at a time
