Commercial HVAC Service Technician Job Description

Our client, a family business since 1992, started in General Construction and has since grown into a Mechanical service company as well. Position Responsibilities:

- Service, diagnose, and repair Commercial HVAC equipment
- Troubleshoot and accurately diagnose issues with HVAC systems
- Effectively repair and replace HVAC parts as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service and communication throughout the service process
- Maintain accurate records of service calls and parts used

Position Essential Job Functions:

- Utilize strong knowledge of HVAC systems and their components to effectively service equipment
- Conduct thorough troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify the root cause of issues
- Perform repairs and replacements of HVAC parts using proper techniques and tools
- Communicate effectively and professionally with customers to explain issues, repairs, and maintenance recommendations
- Document service calls, including the work performed, parts used, and any additional notes

Position Skills:
- 5+ years of experience servicing Commercial HVAC equipment
- Refrigeration experience is a plus
- Chiller experience is a huge plus
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and their components
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues accurately
- Proficient in repairing and replacing HVAC parts
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
