Salary: 20.00 - 25.00 hr. Full or PT

- Insight Contracting is looking for an efficient, safety-minded, self-starter. We have long-term work available for the right candidate for commercial and residential maintenance on construction developments.
- Applicants should have residential and commercial construction industry experience, a reliable vehicle or transportation, and the ability to provide some of their own tools.
- Applicants should be familiar with the construction industry safety standards to ensure project security and be able to work with minimal supervision.
Applicants should be able to:
- Climb to heights and conduct work with proper safety restraints
- Lift heavy loads up to 70 pounds
- Navigate construction terrain
- Perform set up and clean up at the job site
- Provide general labor support as needed
Skills:
- Maintain HVAC systems
- Troubleshoot HVAC work order with tenants over the phone and in-person
- Repair and replace thermostats
- Inspect and diagnose HVAC issues
- Replace basic parts within the furnace or exterior condenser unit
- Keep accurate time and detailed records of work performed at each location
- Must be able to communicate effectively with management, tenants, and other maintenance technicians.
- At the top of the pay range, it is required to be able to install equipment
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of all construction principles
- Valid Driver’s license
- Personal, reliable transportation
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with recharging exterior condenser units
- Familiarity with mini-splits preferred but not required
- HVAC license preferred
