(sign-on bonus offered by our client)Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pmHVAC Technician essential tasks:
- Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, including inspecting belts, pulleys, condensate lines, compressors, motors, and safety controls.
- Conduct general repairs on steam and hot water boiler systems, and diagnose airflow or ducting issues.
- Handle refrigerants safely and in EPA compliance while supporting HVAC systems for light commercial clients.
- Diagnose and repair common HVAC issues, including belts, pulleys, compressors, leaks, and electrical components.
- Complete minor plumbing, painting, and carpentry tasks as needed to maintain client facilities.
- Perform minor electrical maintenance within state law, such as replacing fixtures, outlets, and light bulbs.
- Use technology to document work, submit reports, complete inspections, and communicate with clients and internal teams.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, degree, or certification preferred, with 5+ years in HVAC/general maintenance (including electrical, plumbing, carpentry) or related trade experience.
- Ability to read and follow safety policies, write reports, and effectively communicate information in small group settings.
- Complete work orders efficiently, use handheld devices and software like Microsoft Office, and adhere to safety codes and OSHA standards.
- Skilled in installation, maintenance, and repair of building mechanical systems, with daily local travel between properties required.
