Job Description:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience working at client side and at-least 3 years with QA lead experience
- Strong knowledge of automation skills with Java, JavaScript and Selenium. Candidate should have hands-on experience of all the phases of automating the application including but not limited to designing, coding, deploying on central repository, offline/remote script execution, automated reporting etc.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated and manual test strategy / test plan / scripts for requirement/user story validation, integration, regression, performance and usability testing.
- Provide accurate and precise estimates for assigned task duration and work effort, along with confidence level, and foreseeable dependencies
- Assessing testability aspect and suitable tools including automation with Java, Selenium, BDD, SOAP UI etc.
- BDD with Jasmine/cucumber will be added advantage
- CI/CD tool knowledge/experience
- Create test artifacts, including Test Plans, DSR and Exit Reports
- Create and maintain reusable test data for automation scripts
- Implementing " "Shift-Left " " mechanism by collaborating with Dev and Business to identify critical issues in early stages of requirement analysis and development.
- Trace test cases and results back to specific user stories/requirements/quality risks
- Ability to organize/manage multiple priorities and projects coupled with the flexibility to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment
- Monitor projects on an ongoing basis, evaluating progress and quality, managing risks / issues, and taking corrective action as necessary to meet project deadlines
- Identify necessary resources/tools to manage and execute testing activities.
- Implement best practices and tools for testing and test automation.
- Quality Management of applications under test including identification, communication and mitigation of project risks, defects and triage discussions and co-ordination with different stakeholders, and use of Quality Center (ALM), Atlassian JIRA etc. for defect management
- Implementing projects using SDLC methodologies including waterfall, agile and scrum methodologies and leveraging applications and tools including Quality Center, Visual Studio Team Foundation Server, JIRA, MS SQL Server Management Studio, Oracle SQL Developer, Win Scp, PUTTY, FIDDLER etc.
- Lead and coach a diverse set of quality engineers, who are tasked with automated and manual testing responsibility
- Tactically deploy a defined QA roadmap and help to drive QA process efficiencies and objectives.
- Implement best practices and tools for testing and test automation.
