HYBRID Cash Application Specialist at TEKsystems

TEK Systems is hiring a Cash Application Specialist - in this role, you'll be responsible for the support of the cash application process which includes the identification and matching of monies received to the corresponding receivable cash transfers disbursements and mark-offs.

This role is HYBRID post-training!

Position requires strong emphasis on details quality and timeliness. Must have the ability to work across several receivable systems policy administration systems and inter-connected processes. Needs to effectively communicate with peers management and internal and external partners.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assume ownership and respond to customer internal/external billing correspondence complaints and inquiries in an efficient accurate and professional manner
• Coordinate end to end service with other business partners
• Effectively navigate multiple systems bank billing systems and applications to research analyze and resolve customer inquiries (systems/application training provided!)
• Work effectively in a team environment using professional interpersonal and communication skills
• Maintain performance standards within a fast-paced environment.

Qualified Candidates will...

• Be comfortable in maneuvering through various computer systems
• Have excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Possess knowledge of Excel (basic skills required, intermediate or stronger skills preferred!)
• Have experience in Outlook - emailing, managing different mailboxes, leveraging template emails
• Be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Required Education/Experience:

2 years of customer service/financial services experience preferably in a processing environment

Strong customer service skills including oral and written communication

High School or GED mandatory associate degree preferred
