Overview: Our client is looking for a mid-level Civil Associate Attorney to join their Commercial Litigation practice in
Denver, Colorado. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of civil litigation experience, with a focus on high-quality
writing and courtroom and trial experience. Strong research, presentation, and trial skills are required.
Candidates must currently be licensed to practice in Colorado.
Responsibilities:
Draft a variety of legal documents including pleadings, motions, and other necessary legal paperwork.
* Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to address complex legal issues.
* Manage all aspects of the discovery process and conduct depositions as needed.
* Offer informed legal advice and counsel to clients on a wide range of legal matters.
* Facilitate negotiations to reach favorable settlements on behalf of clients.
* Represent clients effectively in court proceedings and trial settings.
* Interpret and apply relevant laws, rulings, and regulations to provide strategic legal guidance.
Billables: 1450 annually
Qualifications:
* Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from an ABA Accredited Law School.
* 5+ years of solid experience in law firms, with a focus on civil litigation defense.
* Strong writing and research skills. Writing samples required.
* Courtroom and trial experience.
* Possession of a license to practice law in Colorado.
* Ability to handle a fast-paced workload and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong research, problem-solving, and client relationship skills.
* Proficiency in using technology for legal research and case management.
* Outgoing, collegial, and collaborative demeanor.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Keen attention to detail and strong writing skills.
