Client Services Manager, Large Physician Rev Cycle Organization Chicago Loop/ Hybrid
Summary:
Our client, located in the Chicago Loop, is seeking a dynamic Manager of Client Services. This role will be the primary point of contact who will work closely with assigned clinical departments to coordinate clinical service billing activities. The manager will oversee the client relationship as it relates to clinical departments, patients, insurance companies and other third parties impacting the client. Ensuring productivity and quality standards are met, proper processing, including verification and maintenance of data and payments to clients’ receivable records. Communicates strategic plans with clients, prepares various status reports to analyze trends and make recommendations. The client services department is somewhat of a catch all: credentialing, contract management for payers, and quality assurance over billing services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Primary point-of-contact for assigned clinical departments; Work closely with department Administrators and Physicians to understand their practice patterns and trends.
- Works collaboratively with clinical departments and WWT management team to improve work flow, standardization and corrective procedures.
- Recognize and communicate trends with major payer issues relating to appeals and denials and escalate to vendors when appropriate.
- Compile medical billing data, analyze trends, summarize findings and implement solutions
- Identify and troubleshoot data flow issues, spot trends and provide guidance and/or coordination to resolve revenue cycle issues.
Education/requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in health care administration, business or another related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in health care management but not limited to clinic management, patient management, accounts receivables and payables
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in physician revenue cycle collections or related field and vast knowledge of revenue cycle services.
- Strong background in financial management and knowledgeable of federal and state laws and requirements relating to healthcare management.
- Manage interpersonal relationships and interact with clarity and courtesy with staff and clients.
- Maintain high level of professionalism, including professional appearance and demeanor.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability and capacity to successfully prioritize multiple responsibilities and projects.
