We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Hybrid Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join our fast-paced legal team. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about real estate law and has a keen eye for detail. You will be working closely with our team of attorneys and other paralegals, assisting in a wide range of commercial real estate matters.
Responsibilities:
As a Hybrid Commercial Real Estate Paralegal, your core responsibilities will include:
1. Utilizing legal case management software to organize, track and manage cases effectively.
2. Ensuring strict legal compliance in all transactions and processes.
3. Using Softpro for closing, title insurance, and escrow software needs.
4. Reviewing, negotiating, and drafting commercial leases.
5. Performing e-filing duties, including the preparation and submission of documents.
6. Preparing CD closing documents, ensuring all details are accurate and complete.
7. Resolving liens, estoppel, and survey issues in a timely and efficient manner.
8. Working closely with the real estate section to facilitate smooth transactions.
9. Reviewing Schedule B-I and Schedule B-II title exceptions and requirements.
10. Providing support in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Hybrid Commercial Real Estate Paralegal position will have:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal in the commercial real estate sector.
2. Proficiency in using legal case management software.
3. A deep understanding of legal compliance requirements in commercial real estate.
4. Experience with Softpro or similar software.
5. Extensive experience in drafting and reviewing commercial leases.
6. Demonstrated ability to perform e-filing tasks.
7. Experience in preparing CD closing documents.
8. Proven track record in resolving liens, estoppel, and survey issues.
9. Solid experience in the real estate section of a legal firm.
10. Familiarity with Schedule B-I and Schedule B-II title exceptions and requirements.
11. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
12. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
13. A paralegal certification is preferred but not required.
