Hybrid Temp to Hire F/T Insurance, Claims, or Benefits Member Service Representatives Needed in Chicago Near Chinatown
Our client, a busy and growing Non-for-Profit Health & Welfare Fund Union located in the city of Chicago near Chinatown, has staffing needs for some experiences, temporary-to-hire, full-time Insurance, Claims, or Benefits Member Services Representatives. Pay rate starts at $18 and increases based on experience.

Our client is looking for individuals with recent insurance, claims, or benefits customer service work experience and not retail customer service experience.
Job Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for answering about 50 incoming calls per day from members, providers, vendors, and medical partners and assisting them with determining eligibility, enrolling eligible members into plans, providing members with their claim statuses, performing accurate data entry, providing members with medical, hospital, prescription, and dental benefit information.
- All calls must be documented in Basys.
Job Requirements
- A High School Diploma is required.
- You must have at least 2+ years of recent insurance, benefits, or claims customer service work experience preferably working within a call center environment.
- You must have excellent customer service skills along with a professional telephone etiquette.
- Effective problem resolution skills.
- You must be well-organized, detail-oriented, and be able to multi-task.
- Recent Basys Software experience is a plus.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Microsoft Office Word and Excel proficiency is essential with the ability to type at least 40WPM.
