Hybrid Temp-Hire F/T Life & Disability Claims Payer Position Richardson, TX
Our client a growing Insurance Company located in Lombard, Illinois is looking to hire a temporary to hire full-time Life and Disability Claims Payer. You will be responsible for processing Disability, STD, LTD, Life, Accidental, Hospital Indemnity, and Critical Illness Claims for payment.

8 weeks of mandatory onsite training in Lombard must be completed prior to working a hybrid partially remote work schedule.
You will be required to work 3 days onsite in the office and 2 days remotely from home. A company laptop will be provided for work purposes only.
These are temporary to hire full-time positions working Monday-Friday from (8:00am to 4:30pm).
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for processing Disability, STD, LTD, Life, Accidental Insurance, Hospital Indemnity, and Critical Illness Claims for payment.
- Respond to claim inquiries from insureds, beneficiaries, policyholders, and internal stakeholders. resolve issues promptly through effective verbal and written communication.
- Investigate, research, verify, and diligently obtain medical information on all claim types.
- Analyze disability and life claims and make benefit decisions and payments on claims.
- Approve or deny claims within policy limits.
- Maintain accurate documentation of activities in claim files in accordance with company practices.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Disability or Life claims paying experience is required.
- Claim adjudication experience with Critical Illness, Accidental Insurance, Hospital Indemnity or Short-Term Long Term Disability Claims is required.
- A Bachelor Degree is required or 4 years of recent and related claims paying experience.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical, problem resolution, and research skills are needed.
- PC proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Lotus Notes is required.
- Excellent customer service & communication and time management skills are essential
