Job Details
We are looking for a Sr. Structures Representative to join our team in Santa Ana! You will utilize your expertise to oversee construction activities related to structural elements. You will also provide client management and new business development activities in partnership with the Orange County team.
Responsibilities and Job Duties:
Technical Leadership:
- Oversee pre-construction services, including bid reviews and bidding support.
- Manage contract administration, monitor schedules, address claims, and process RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Ensure project adherence to approved plans, budget, and timelines.
- Perform calculation and acceptance of temporary structures as used in construction of bridges and structures including falsework, temporary shoring, working platforms, temporary supports.
- Verify compliance with applicable regulations controlling work including CAL/OSHA and SWPPP.
- Lead daily coordination with clients, contractors, designers, and regulatory agencies.
- Supervise field construction staff and sub-consultants.
- Facilitate project delivery and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue opportunities to grow client relationships and establish new partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling proposals and secure new projects.
Education/Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree and must have an active PE License in the State of California.
- 6+ years’ experience on Major Public Works Projects including Bridges and/or Structures.
- Proven ability to win new work.
- Experience participating in the development of proposals / the interview process .
- Caltrans Experience is preferred.
