Title
IT SAP Security Specialist 6
Position Type: Remote
Schedule: M-F, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Assignment Length: temp to hire
DESCRIPTION
• Deploy a "defense-in-dept” security model through the establishment of policies, practices, and strategic initiatives to protect the SAP environment.
• Demonstrate the ability to design, implement, and manage security solutions for SAP applications and IT Assets
• Ability to apply vulnerability management to complex SAP systems with interconnected modules, databases, and interfaces
• Expertise in analyzing and providing SAP remediation recommendations for proposed technical solutions
• Deliver or enhance continuous monitoring solutions for early threat detection to reduce response time and risk
• Support Onapsis Platform scanning and SAP ABAP custom code analysis processes
• Collaborate across organizations and work closely with key business partners to address security requirements, establish governance, and implement processes to minimize risk
• Proficiency with communicating and delivering executive-level presentations (internal and across all OUs) to highlight SAP program recommendations, new processes, guidelines, or risk mitigation initiatives
• Provide deep Cybersecurity and SAP expertise within the vulnerability management domain with respect to SAP application security best practices, role-based access controls, and distributed SAP system administration
• Experience with applying vulnerability management to SAP cloud applications
• Assist in the administration and management of the Onapsis Platform and supporting infrastructure
REQUIREMENTS
• Experience with SAP security, SAP architecture, and SAP administration/operations
• Five (5) or more years of Information Technology experience
• Three (3) or more years of experience within the Cybersecurity domain
• Two (2) or more years of experience in vulnerability management
• Two (2) or more years of experience with the Onapsis Platform (Assess, Defend, and Control for Code/Transport modules)
Desired skills
Possess a CISSP or GSEC Certification
• Knowledge or experience working within a NIST Cybersecurity Framework
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related Information Technology field
• Experience with Unix and Linux Operating systems
