IBM (MQ) Middleware Administration - Startekk Inc

The Employee will help our organization to identify and bridge the gap that exists in the business by analyzing the data, scale and support digital transformation initiatives.

• Installation and configuration: Installing and configuring IBM MQ, Java-based tools, and MQ servlets
• Maintenance: Operating and maintaining the system after installation
• Performance: Monitoring MQ performance and health check
• Troubleshooting: Troubleshooting using MQ and MB error logs, event viewer, and Queue Manager Error logs
• Security: Setting up security using the Object Authority Manager and running security scripts
• DevOps Automation: CI/CD Pipeline Tools such as Bamboo, Bitbucket, Ansible & Terraform Scripting
• Platform: Basic knowledge in Cloud Computing (GCP) and Well versed in Platform infrastructure Linux / Windows Systems 
• Backup and recovery: Developing backup and recovery procedures
• Documentation: Maintaining and documenting MQ installs and upgrades on various platforms
• Training: Training team members on WebSphere Product support
• On-call support: Providing 24x7 on-call support on rotation basis
• Migration: Facilitating migration of MQ to higher versions
• Architecture: Architecting and designing HA for MQ, clustering, and workload balancing
• Collaboration: Working closely with Systems Architects and Application architects

These duties are too complex and specialized to be performable with a bachelor’s degree related to computer science or computer information systems or information technology.
