Hourly pay is base plus Tips. Many Team Members take home $5- $10 per hour in tips in addition to hourly pay.
Philmore Creamery servers/team members provide excellent customer service with a smile in FOH, on the phone and during catering events. While serving gelato to customers, team members are expected to have a friendly disposition, serve and educate the customers on products as well as maintain a clean and organized environment. We aim to be the happiest part of our customer’s day!
Qualifications:
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Maintain a clean customer and kitchen area
- Loves gelato
- Able to lift 25 pounds
- Able to stand on feet for extended periods of time
- Multi-task
- Punctual
- Has/obtains ServSafe Food Handler’s Card within 3 weeks of hire

Job Duties
Philmore team members welcome customers and set the tone for their dining experience in FOH by:
- Being a positive representative for Philmore Creamery at all times
- Greet customers with a friendly and helpful disposition
- Operate Point of Sale
- Follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- Learn store products, packaging and services
- Maintain personal hygiene (wear a Philmore T and/or apron)
- Follow maintenance cleaning and handling of maintenance issues
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and management
- Food prep (seasonal fruit and lemons)
- Comply with the shop’s policies and procedures
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain product quality through attention to menu items taste, appearance and texture and reports inconsistencies to the on duty manager

** Clean and Set Dining Areas
Every team member works to keep up the appearance and cleanliness of the customer and kitchen area. During down times or in-between shifts, team members clean, sanitize, wipe down, or sweep areas where food is prepped or served. They also wipe tables, restocking dining utensils and delivery menus on tablets to ensure every guest has what they need in person or online ordering.
