**Job Title:** RN - Clinical Nurse Critical Care - Nights **Job Specialty:** Inpatient RN Registered / Licensed **Job Duration:** 13 Weeks **Shift:** Night (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), Every other weekend, 2 major holidays, 2 minor holidays **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Experience with direct patient care preferred **License:** RN - Single State or Multi-state Compact **Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) **Must-Have:** Ability to read, write, and speak English; strong interpersonal and collaborative skills; excellent customer service skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; decisive and composed in emergencies; time management skills; strong critical thinking and analytical skills; basic computer skills. **Job Description:** - Perform the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation, using evidence-based practice. - Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care adjusting for population-specific characteristics and cultural diversity. - Partner with patients and significant others to keep them informed and focused on the patient's healthcare goals. - Uphold nursing practice standards, policies, and procedures; participate in performance improvement activities. - Coordinate and document safe, quality patient care; demonstrate fiscal responsibility and promote teamwork. - Serve as a preceptor or mentor for other nurses and healthcare team members; promote a healthy work environment. - Participate in evidence-based practice, nursing research, and data collection to improve patient care. - Plan proactively for patient care across the care continuum; develop and implement protocols and procedures. - Support efficient use of human and material resources to achieve best practice outcomes.
