About The Position
**Job Title:** RN Clinical Nurse - ICU Nights **Job Specialty:** Registered Nurse / Licensed - Inpatient **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Night Shift, 7 PM - 7 AM **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Preferred experience with direct patient care **License:** Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact **Certifications:** - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) **Must-Have:** - Ability to read, write, and speak English - Basic computer skills - Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills - Excellent time management and critical thinking **Job Description:** - Engage as a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team ensuring individualized, high-quality patient care. - Perform the Nursing Process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice. - Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care adapting to population-specific needs such as age and gender. - Partner with patients and significant others to keep them informed and focused on care goals. - Practice using current clinical practice standards. - Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care promoting a respectful, inclusive clinical environment. - Demonstrate teamwork and fiscal responsibility to support recruitment and retention of team members. - Participate and support performance improvement and shared governance. - Complete all professional competency assessments and required education. - Serve as a preceptor or mentor for fellow nurses and staff. - Promote evidence-based practice and nursing research. - Uphold healthcare policies, legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards. - Participate in data collection and evidence-based practice inquiries. - Plan patient care proactively across the care continuum. - Collaborate on protocol and procedure development for best practice outcomes. - Support efficient human and material resource use. - Perform other duties as assigned.
