About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse - Critical Care **Job Specialty:** Critical Care **Job Duration:** 8 weeks **Shift:** 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Minimum of 3 years **License:** Current and valid state RN License **Certifications:** - Current BLS certificate upon hire - Current ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire - Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire **Must-Have:** - Minimum of one year as a staff RN in an acute care hospital, critical care preferred **Job Description:** - Deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. - Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice. - Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the ICU. - Communicate with physicians about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, abnormal results, and symptomatology. - Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment. - Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality. - Ability to float to other departments such as ER and Telemetry/Medical-Surgical as needed within the scope. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Completion of a Critical Care Course - Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Join our dedicated team and help provide high-quality care in a dynamic ICU environment!
