Salary: The position range is $42.16-$70.28 and would be eligible for a leadership bonus of up to 7.5% (starting in 2025, for pay out in Q1 2026)
Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The base pay compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
This position is a salaried/exempt position with the general working hours of Monday – Friday 7am-4pm though the exact working hours may fluctuate based on the needs of the organization.
Reporting to the Director – Clinical Operations Nursing Services, this Nursing Manager is part of dynamic interdisciplinary team of leaders focused on achieving excellence in clinical, quality and operational performance.
The Manager - Nurse ICU will lead the daily operations of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to ensure continuous operations and long-term alignment of the service line’s clinical and financial goals.
Our ICU is an 18 bed critical care unit with a nurse to patient ratio of 1:2-3 - caring for patients who are recovering from open-heart surgery 1-2 days post surgery or patients are on intubation, ventilation and life-sustaining medication drips.
Qualifications
What the successful candidate will bring to this position:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing required, Masters Degree in Nursing or Business preferred.
- At least 2-4 years of clinical experience appropriate to critical care population.
- At least 2 years of experience in progressive leadership roles.
- Indiana Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Registered Nurse License through the Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) required.
- Relevant professional Nursing Certification preferred.
- Within 30 days of hire you must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Inpatient nursing experience - prefer ICU experience but we’ll take inpatient experience
- Strong background of working with their staff on patient safety and experience
- At least 2 years of experience in progressive leadership roles
