About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking an IAM Initiatives Lead to be part of the Identity and Access Management Initiatives team
This team provides effective end to end IAM initiative and issue management including strategic solutioning, execution management, testing and validation readiness, impediment remediation, and closure across all IAM products
This person will be a liaison between the initiatives team and IAM leadership and will be accountable for driving a matrixed team towards timely implementation of IAM solutions.In this role, you will:Provide advanced information security consultation for all aspects of information security compliance policy, risk management, and remediationDirect information security risk assessment and research, and recommend remediation plans and strategiesInfluence stakeholders on net new or on material changes to an asset to influence control decisionsProvide consulting on security risk assessment and research, and recommend remediation plans and strategiesAct as more experienced lead to the organization to develop security risk awareness and mitigating actionsConsult the organization on complex security issues and findingsManage the most complex and critical information assetsEvaluate and interpret internal and companywide information security policies, processes, standards, and participate with more experienced leaders in decision making on information securityServe as information security lead to advise on the development and delivery of Information Security Education and AwarenessCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsLead projects and teamsCoordinate with vendor manager on third party assets to manage information security risksServe as a mentor to less experienced staffRequired Qualifications:5+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education5+ years of risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, compliance, or process experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationAbility to escalate and resolve risks/issue timely through senior leadership and product ownersAbility to assess risk early and holistically to remediate systemic root causesReport on portfolio status timely, accurately, and holisticallyDefine metrics and thresholds for escalationsStrong understanding of the issue management lifecycle and issue remediation requirementsAbility to succinctly and accurately message program progress, impediments, and successes to executive leadership and line of defense partners including AuditUnderstanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and IAM principles.
