In-Charge Accountant - Integrated Talent Strategies

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking an In-Charge Accountant to work in the St. Marys area. This direct-hire position offers a variety of great benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Participate in the planning of engagements and complete compilation engagements with guidance.
• Assume additional responsibility for the preparation of work papers and financial statements.
• Develop footnotes to financial statements.
• Develop management letter comments.
• Review work papers prepared by staff accountants.
• Keep the manager/supervisor informed of the status of engagements.
• Prepare higher-level individual, corporate, and/or other types of tax returns.
• Perform preliminary research on tax-related issues and respond to tax notices.
• Participate in tax planning.
• Deepen knowledge of federal, state, and local law.
• Develops technical skills both on the job and through formal learning channels.
• Works as an effective team member to complete project components and assigned tasks.
• Seeks to gain knowledge of client businesses and implement solutions for clients.
• Identifies task issues as well as task progress in a timely and organized manner.
• Builds strong team relationship skills.

• Assists in proposal development and research gathering as requested.
• Participates in office and firm-wide initiatives.
• Demonstrates an active interest in the business world by keeping abreast of market trends and business developments.

• Assist in the training and supervision of staff accountants and accounting assistants.
• Maintain personal and professional integrity at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

• College degree and
• Minimum of 2 years public accounting experience.
