IN-FSSA, Logansport, Beautician (739837) - American Technology Consulting

The Contract Beautician/Barber shall provide beautician services to the patientsat Logansport State Hospital including, but not limited to, haircuts,permanents, S-Curl, relaxers, color, sets and beard trimming.• The Contract Beautician/Barber will report to the Rehabilitation Director.• The Contract Beautician/Barber will maintain a current license.• The Contract Beautician/Barber may work up to 18.75 hours per week providingservices as needed/scheduled.• The Contract Beautician/Barber will be required to prepare a daily record oftime and services rendered.• The Contract Beautician/Barber may utilize use hair cutting/care instrumentsand products provided by Logansport State Hospital.• The Contract Beautician/Barber will follow all sanitation procedures ofLogansport State Hospital.• The Contract Beautician/Barber may be required to escort patients to/fromtheir home units. As need arises, the Contract Beautician/Barber may need toprovide hair cutting services on the unit.• The Contract Beautician/Barber will work with hospital staff by maintaining aninventory of supplies and working with hospital staff when ordering supplies isneeded.• Orientation will be required and will include Bridge Building, CPR andselected topics that are necessary per the hospital orientation schedule. Annualrefresher courses will be required as well as computer courses for hospitalrequired trainings.
