Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate In-Home Non-Medical Caregiver(s) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing assistance with activities of daily living to our clients in the low country, Primary tasks including ensuring their comfort and safety while maintaining their dignity and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks.
- Help with mobility and transferring clients from bed to chair or wheelchair.
- Accompany clients to appointments and assist with errands.
- Monitor and report changes in client's condition to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for the client.
- Follow care plans as directed by the supervising nurse or care coordinator.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred. (this experience can be with your own aged or disabled family members)
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license and insurance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle physical aspects of the job, including lifting up to 30 pounds.
- Patience, compassion, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
