CommQuest is currently seeking a part-time In-School Tutor who will provide academic and work readiness tutoring for in school juniors and seniors with barriers to school and employment success. This role is located in Stark County area schools. The In-School Tutor will be assisting students with Math and Reading and must have the ability to effectively communicate with junior and senior high school students in a way that allows students to comprehend the subjects being taught.

What you'll do:
- Provide tutoring services for enrolled youth in needed academic subject(s) and Ohio Graduation Test areas.
- Identify youth who may need additional academic intervention beyond after school tutoring.
- Provide knowledge of and access to academic resources to be used with the youth.
- Incorporate information obtained from youth school records such as IEPs into tutoring needs and how to best approach the youth.
- Assist in the increase of outcomes related to youth passing the OGT, increase in grades/GPA, and increase in graduation rate.
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM
Minimum Qualifications:
- This position requires a minimum High School Diploma/GED, current student seeking an education degree or experience in education field preferred.
- Previous experience working with high school-aged students a plus!
- Must pass background and drug screen upon hire.
- Also, for this position it is required to have a valid Ohio driver's license and proof of automobile insurance.
