Direct Reports: Sr. Education Product Manager, Internship Administrator
Travel: Up to 20% yearly as needed.
Job Summary: National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED), a leading organization dedicated to supporting our members through leading-edge approaches to effectively meet personalized educational and leadership development demands, is seeking a forward-thinking Inclusion and Workforce Transformation Manager.
In this role, you will lead our efforts to equip our electrical distribution members with the tools, education, and strategies needed to attract, retain, and develop an inclusive and diverse workforce. This role is vital in driving meaningful change throughout the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & People Management: Provide leadership and direction to direct reports, ensuring alignment with NAED's strategic goals.
- Tool and Education Development: Create and implement tools, toolkits, and educational resources to help members attract and retain top talent.
- Pipeline Development: Build and maintain strategic relationships with universities and technical schools to create a strong talent pipeline.
- Program Management: Oversee the scholarship and intern programs, ensuring they align with industry needs and member goals.
- Inclusion and Diversity Committee Leadership: Lead the I Belong Here Inclusion and Diversity Committee, overseeing efforts to drive workforce transformation embedding diversity and inclusion values across all initiatives to drive meaningful change and foster a more inclusive industry.
- Member Advocacy: Act as a resource and advocate for NAED members, providing guidance on workforce trends and best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, recommending, and implementing adjustments to enhance strategies and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 5-7 years of experience in workforce or organizational development, DEI, or a related field, with a strong background in program management.
- Industry Experience: Experience in the electrical industry or association management is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong project management, change management and organizational skills.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn NAED systems.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to measure and analyze program effectiveness.
