Job Description
You will be responsible for managing a caseload of intellectually disabled individuals, providing support and teaching them independent living skills.
You are part critical thinker - part motivator and under minimal supervision. This position manages their assigned caseload, trains and supports clients to grow in their independence, while collaborating with their personal and professional support group.
Primary Responsibilities
Proficient verbal and written communication skills are required.
Reliable transportation and a valid CDL and car insurance are necessary, as you will spend 90% of your day in the field meeting with clients. The other 10% will be administrative, which will involve writing reports, documentation, emails, etc.
Must be proficient with the following skills: Problem Solving, Conflict Resolution, Interpersonal Skills, Time-Management, Communication, Critical Thinking, Creativity, and Decision Making.
Proficient with using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Desired background:
We are looking for experience and will train the right person with skills that can be applied to this position
or
2-years experience working with Intellectually Disabled clients
or
2-years of caregiver/direct care work experience
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!

- Providing support that occasionally may require responding during off-hours for any crisis involving clients on your caseload.
- Must meet monthly billable hours as required for each client.
- Responsible for writing, reviewing, and scheduling clients' quarterly reviews.
