Job Summary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Direct IV&V Consultant services during the specific timeframe (e.g., through solution implementation and Go-Live of the initial project phase, project start-up through completion of a key critical event, etc.)
- Evaluating assigned DDI IT projects to determine application of industry best practices, assess project risks, and identify recommendations to optimize project performance
- Evaluating assigned M&O projects to determine application of industry best practices, assess operations risks, and identify recommendations to optimize M&O delivery
- Verifying products conforms to technical and non-technical requirements
- Make specific actionable recommendations to address any anomalies or findings reported
- Writing IV&V reports and presenting findings to client
- Leads a team, conducting oversight and assessment activities for large-scale software development projects
- Support the client management and stakeholders to plan for and address risks and issues as they occur, to help ensure that the project remains on schedule and within budget
- Develops and Leads M&O Service Delivery reviews using ITIL framework
- Develops and Leads M&O review tools and processes using ITIL and other service delivery framework
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree and 10+ Years
- Minimum of 10-15 years providing IV&V services for state and/or Federal government agency IT projects
- Minimum of 10-15 years providing IV&V services for M&O projects
- At least five (5) years' experience in two or more of the following specializations: a) Business requirements and business flow development and facilitation | b) System / IT infrastructure security | c) Legacy system languages (e.g., COBOL) | d) Current system languages (e.g., JAVA, .NET) | e) System/User test management and execution | f) System architecture design | g) Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) | h) Database design and development
- MITA/IEEE/CMMI IV&V framework is MUST
- At least five (10) years IV&V experience on large, complex software development, systems implementation/integration and M&O projects
- A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification with Project Management Institute® (PMI®) Preferred
- ITIL 4 Managing Professional (ITIL MP) Required
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Management Information System a must, computer science preferable

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
