We are an industrial distribution and manufacturing company located in the Philadelphia metro area seeking an Indirect Sourcing Specialist for work in our company headquarters. Indirect Sourcing is the process of procuring all the goods and services our company requires to run internally, such as office and warehouse supplies, uniforms, and travel and entertainment services. Indirect Sourcing does not contribute to the production of our company’s goods and services that we offer for sale to our “external” customers, but rather manages the flow of “internal” company consumption of good and services supporting the day-to-day operations of our business. As a direct report to the SVP Strategic Sourcing and General Counsel, the Indirect Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for developing, executing, and administering all indirect strategic sourcing strategies and processes. Utilizing an analytically based approach, the Indirect Sourcing Specialist will be involved in the RFX process, contract management, vendor management and internal stakeholder compliance to ensure best in class pricing, quality, service from our vendors and internal adherence to purchasing processes in support of manufacturing and distribution.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with all aspects of strategic procurement of “indirect” goods and services consumed by the business, including strategy, research, analytics, negotiations, tool development and process implementation.
- Develop and implement efficiencies, standardized tools, practices, and procedures shortening quotation, RFP and decision making and evaluation timeframes on all internal goods and service purchases.
- Build strong relationships internally with other PetroChoice associates and externally with current and future PetroChoice vendors, fostering collaboration and teamwork.
- Analyzes data to identify trends and opportunities and provides recommendations to management.
- Source and onboard new suppliers to serve dynamic marketplace with rapidly evolving business needs.
- Drive internal strategy adherence and alignment on field purchases with designated preferred suppliers.
- Participate and monitor technical meetings with suppliers, keeping up to date with trends and projects in progress, always connecting the technology strategy to the commercial one.
- Coordinate with Operations, IT and Marketing to review buying strategies and source points to help optimize our indirect purchases.
- Establish key performance indicators, target objectives, and improvement initiatives to meet sourcing objectives. Responsible for the metric reporting, analysis, consolidation, and publication for aforementioned metrics.
- Perform administrative activities associated with the effective management of suppliers, including building and refreshing supplier scorecards.
- Maintaining procurement policies and review on a regular basis to ensure relevance and conformance with best practices and compliance with internal policies. Ensure process documents are complete, current, communicated and stored appropriately.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university with 3+ years related experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, and/or Supply Chain Management (preferably wholesale distribution); business administration or equivalent combination of education and experience.

MATHEMATIC ABILITY:

COMPUTER SKILLS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software, Inventory software and experience working in an enterprise wide system. Experience working in an ERP environment is desirable.
