Status: Full-time hourly
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Two Remote Days/Week Available
Reports To: Senior Manager, Individual & Major Giving

A Day in the Life:
The Individual Giving Assistant will be responsible for coordinating and supporting our individual giving team to meet strategic financial objectives. They will be responsible for annual giving program support, data management and coordination of donor communication & stewardship, and coordinate fundraising events
Job Requirements:
- Manage data entry and coding in accordance with AHS guidelines.
- Provide administrative assistance to the Senior Manager of Individual Giving, VP of Development, and Board of Directors, including meeting preparation, note-taking, and other duties.
- Assist with special events and initiatives within the Development Team.
- Work with AHS volunteers to schedule support during events and the holiday season.
- Respond to all donor inquiries via email, phone, and written correspondence in a timely manner.
- Manage donor communications in alignment with the annual stewardship plan including merging, printing, and mailing materials.
- Plan and execute donor appreciation and donor cultivation events, including managing logistics, invitations, and follow-up activities.
- Attend and assist with donor events, managing tasks such as scheduling, venue selection, RSVPs, and event setup.
- Demonstrate care and concern for the quality of donors' experiences to build and further relationships.
- Perform other duties as assigned, which may change as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma / GED required
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years in professional office environment preferred. Equivalent education/experience may be considered.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Experience with Raiser's Edge, comparable donor software or CRM preferred.
- High level of focus, organization and time management.
- High-level attention to detail, thoroughness in completing assignments and follow through.
- Ethical, patient, and professional behavior and attitude with the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to read donors and translate critical details to appropriate team members.
- Impeccable customer service skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
