Job Title: Individual Medical Contracting and Commissions Specialist
Division: Individual Medical
Location: Columbia, SC
Type: Full-Time; May be eligible for hybrid work schedule after successful completion of training
Hiring Range: $36,000 - $46,000 annually (commensurate with directly applicable experience)
Commitment: One-Year Commitment to The Cason Group

Our Individual Medical team serves brokers and agents by providing dedicated, experienced business sales consultations to individual medical professionals. As an Individual Medical Contracting and Commissions Specialist, you will assist Sales Reps in effectively onboarding new agents and while facilitating a seamless experience during the contracting and transfer process.
What Our Individual Medical Contracting and Commission Specialists Do:
- Communicate and Collaborate: Communicate clear onboarding steps for reps and agents; develop procedures and processes to clearly articulate where brokers are throughout the process; provide new agents with information on TCG, carriers and products, technology resources, and marketing resources
- Organize and Support: Maintain up-to-date information of all assigned tasks, open activities, and broker appointments; tracking workload and received requests; identify opportunities to improve the broker experience
- Stay Current In Industry: Attend carrier’s seminars and trainings; attend broker and group meetings with territory sales reps; maintain a current knowledge of products, carriers, requirements, guidelines, and processes, including group insurance law, commissions, licensing and appointment procedures
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy along with compliance of deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer services skills; ability to secure support and cooperation with others
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel) and knowledge of general database systems
- Demonstrated proficiency of all parts of the role within four-to-six months
