Job Title: Individual Medical Sales and Services Associate
Division: Individual Medical
Location: Columbia, SC
Type: Full-Time; May be eligible for hybrid work schedule after successful completion of training
Hiring Range: $36,000 - $46,000 annually (commensurate with directly applicable experience)
Commitment: One-Year Commitment to The Cason Group

Our Individual Medical team serves brokers and agents by providing dedicated, experienced business sales consultations to individual medical professionals. As an Individual Medical Sales and Services Associate, you will be responsible for answering product questions, providing quotes, and servicing in-force policies.
What Our Sales and Service Associates Do:
- Organize and Support: Provide support for agents and HealthReach clients for policy issues and questions around billing, enrollment, claims, etc.; assist brokers and reps with new carrier appointments, transfers, and licensing questions; review and submit paper applications to carriers; ensure accuracy when entering new business and policy-related information in CRM database
- Communicate and Collaborate: Work closely with the agent, TCG enroller, and HealthReach client regarding items needed to complete application; obtain information about applications sent direct to carriers or enrolled via HealthReach and enter appropriate coverage details into internal database system; answer questions from brokers and sales reps regarding sale/pre-sale process and quotes.
- Engage as a Team Player: Provide on-the-job-training for new employees; prepare written procedures for internal use; assist Individual Medical Sales Specialists with broker onboarding and appointments as needed
- Stay Current in Industry: Attend carrier trainings and seminars
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy of project execution along with compliance of deadlines for a variety of deliverables
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer services skills as well as the ability to work well with others to secure their support and cooperation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Outlook and Excel) and general knowledge of database systems
