What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain industrial applications using Ignition Perspective, Python, SQL and other relevant programming languages
- Analyze and interpret industrial data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization of CMC’s manufacturing and business processes
- Utilize good practice programming principles to create reusable and modular code that can be used in many different contexts
- Incorporate best practices for UI/UX design into production applications, ensuring intuitive user interfaces, seamless mobile experiences, responsive layouts and adaptable perspectives across different devices and screen sizes
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to implement analytics-driven solutions and develop or modify requested features and functionalities
- Ensure all code is clearly documented, providing detailed explanations of data sources, the purpose of the code, and any necessary references. This includes outlining key variables, functions and logic to facilitate easy understanding and troubleshooting.
- Occasional travel required to collaborate with cross-functional teams, attend meetings, or support project implementations at various locations
What You'll Need
- Coursework in CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, Object Oriented Programming
- Experience with DevOps practices and application of statistics in an industrial environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
