Suburban Contractors LLC is seeking an experienced Industrial/Bridge/Tower Painter to apply protective coatings to various industrial structures, including bridges, towers, and commercial facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for surface preparation, applying coatings, and ensuring high-quality finishes that protect structures from corrosion and environmental damage. This role requires working at heights and in challenging environments, while adhering to safety and quality standards.

- Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, rust, and other contaminants using abrasive blasting, power tools, or hand tools.
- Coating Application: Apply protective coatings (such as epoxy, polyurethane, or other industrial paints) to bridges, towers, and other structures using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Quality Control: Ensure proper thickness, uniformity, and quality of paint or coating application to meet project specifications.
- Work at Heights: Perform painting tasks on elevated platforms, scaffolding, or suspended equipment, following safety protocols for working at heights.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain painting equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines, including wearing protective gear and working in properly ventilated spaces to minimize exposure to hazardous materials.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of work completed, including surface conditions, materials used, and any issues encountered during the painting process.
- Experience: Previous experience in industrial, bridge, or tower painting, with a strong understanding of protective coatings and painting techniques.
- Knowledge of surface preparation methods, such as abrasive blasting, power washing, or manual cleaning.
- Proficiency in various painting techniques (spray, brush, roller)
- Strong understanding of safety protocols in industrial environments
- Ability and knowledge to work at heights, setup, move and dismantle scaffolding, or suspended platforms, with a strong focus on safety.
- Physically fit, with the ability to handle and move heavy equipment and materials.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality finishes.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with team members.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to different job sites as needed.
- Familiarity with safety regulations related to industrial painting and working in confined spaces.
