Position Summary:
Industrial electricians install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and parts, such as control panels, motor control centers, switch gears, transformers, bending conduit rigid, EMT, OKAL etc. This position requires extensive knowledge of electrical components as well as electrical safety codes and regulations along with managing a crew and doing the necessary paperwork. Must be professional, technical, and mechanically proficient in all you do day in and day out.
Job Duties:
- Previous Industrial electrical experience preferred.
- Proficient with knowledge of bending conduit, threading, and operating benders such as Green lee 555, 854 and 881 Hydraulic table benders
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, circuit schematic drawings, and understand lay out specification for lighting, electrical wiring, equipment, and devices.
- Previous experience installing cable trays in various sizes. Standards for bonding, grounding, and expansion
- Previous experience installation, troubleshooting and terminations of new motor control centers, VFD’s, PLC’s, switch gears, transformers, busway, buss duct switches, motors single and 3-phase from 1hp to 600 hp, and power distribution panels.
- Test electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or devices using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
- Possess good mathematic skills.
- Safety first to ensure compliance with all appropriate safety procedures and adhere to OSHA safety regulations, and the National Electric Codes.
- Team player-work weekends, OT and out of state if needed.
- Completed work should be neat in appearance and operate properly.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
Experience and Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent to
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Must be able to lift 50lbs or more.
