Industrial Electrician - Honeywell

As an Industrial Electrician here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems in industrial settings. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical equipment and systems, including motors, generators, control panels, and lighting systems. Your expertise in electrical systems and troubleshooting will contribute to the smooth operation of our facilities and the overall success of our business. You will report directly to our Electrical Supervisor, and you'll work out of our College Park, MD location. In this role, you will impact the reliability and productivity of our operations by ensuring the proper functioning of electrical systems. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be essential in maintaining a safe working environment.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings

• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems

• Collaborate with other maintenance technicians and engineers to identify and resolve electrical problems

• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards

• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities


YOU MUST HAVE


• High school diploma or equivalent

• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment

• Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and blueprints

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
