They specialize in engineering services to electric utilities (substation, protection, transmission) alternative energy systems, communication, oil/gas, mining and heavy industry.
The person hired into this role will manage this office, which consists of 10 to 15 PMs, engineers, and designers executing industrial, commercial and water/wastewater design projects.

Requirements:
- BS in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in at least one state
- 12+ years of Industrial Engineering experience, including at least 3 years as a project manager
- Prior experience in managing a small staff
Responsibilities:
- Supervise, direct, and provide technical expertise to a team of 10 to 15 project managers, project engineers, design engineers, designers, and drafters.
- Support projects in the Industrial Power, Instrumentation and Control, and Automation sectors for petroleum, manufacturing, municipalities, and other related clients.
- Monitor and manage the department workload, and work closely with other department managers and offices to plan, organize, and manage the workloads.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate workload and utilization forecasting for the team
- Work with marketing and client development leaders on the pursuit of new business and projects.
- Lead and direct large and/or critical projects, providing technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced project managers and engineers
- Complete timely reporting to upper management as required
- Perform project reviews for project managers and others, and performance reviews of direct reports
- Manage the growth and organization of the department, including recruiting and hiring staff, and developing and implementing business growth and marketing plans
- Monitor and manage team morale and provide leadership to promote a positive work environment
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of applicable industry codes, standards and design recommendations and practices
- Participate in company committees for the development of standards, tools, templates and procedures
- Lead and actively develop proposals for various clients and projects.
- Resolve conflicting priorities and schedules with projects and support staff by prioritizing and planning assignments, adapting to changes, and using available resources effectively
- Coordinate resources within ECI that are outside the core project team including subcontractors to result in integrated, successful projects.
- Pursue and maintain professional licensures and continuing professional education, including attending and participating in conferences and seminars.
