You will apply industrial engineering principles & analytical techniques to establish and continuously improve manufacturing processes and labor allocations.

. What you'll do...
+ Drive development and/or allocation of direct and indirect labor standards and methods.
+ Track labor, manpower utilization, yearly efficiencies, and line balancing.
+ Conduct Job Ergonomics evaluations.
+ Analyze problem process constraints and conduct equipment cycle time analysis with recommendations to improve.
+ Assist with operator allocations, cycle line layouts, plant rebalances, line speed changes, time studies, throughput issues, and launch support
+ Accurately maintain and deliver required IE documentation (Labor Glidepath, Plant Line speed, APT Assessment, etc.)
+ Work with Staff counterparts to complete & evaluate time studies using MODAPTS as the measurement tool for work standards
+ Collaborate and work closely with plant process supervisors, manufacturing engineering, ergonomics, and/or plant personnel. This includes aligning with Staff counterparts on reported capacity (operating pattern and labor) supporting annual plant head count and capacity statements.
+ Apply industrial engineering principles and analytical techniques to identify throughput constraints and continuously improve manufacturing processes and/or reduce labor cost.
You'll have...
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
+ 1+ years of Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing operations experience / 6 months Co-Op intern experience will count towards experience.

+ Plant Industrial Engineering & manufacturing operations experience preferred
+ Experience with MODAPTS preferred
+ Experience working in a team environment
+ Excellent verbal/written communication skills
+ Detailed knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
+ Strong planning and organizational skills
+ Work well under pressure
+ Ergonomic analysis knowledge and experience
+ Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate leadership behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills

This position is a range of salary grades 6, 7 and 8.
