About the Job
Position will be responsible for developing/analyzing/validating improved processes to eliminate wastes and losses through time study and data driven analysis. They will be responsible for plant time study data and record archive. This position will be responsible for identifying and implementing the most effective ways to remanufacture our products and services. Will be able to design systems that maximize productivity, ensure high product quality, and reduce cost (labor and materials). Develop ways to maximize efficiency and manage human capital more effectively.

- Developing and implementing process improvements and technological upgrades
- Developing design and production standards in cooperation with management
- Training staff for new processes and providing instructions and manuals
- Assist in financial planning and cost analysis
- Developing and implement time study standards
- Conduct time studies to determine reman labor standards
- Perform data collection activities to track wastes and losses within our processes
- Development of PFMEA, work instructions, control plans, labor standards, ECO’s, Kaizens, process/material flow analyses, etc.
- Review and approve Engineering Inquiries (EIs), Document Change Notices (DCNs), JCO’s, & BOM change requests specific to product to maintain best practice and product quality
- Evaluate effects of product design changes
- Provide information for new product release requirements to Mfg. Engineer to determine capital plan
- Communicate with coordinator/finance department on setting cost standards
- Continuous Improvement on existing CNH Reman processes such as PPAP process for new and reman product release
- Develop product information for part number revisions and any upgrades required
- Perform other duties assigned by the Product Engineering Manager. Review and report incidents and accidents

- Information transparency — Use technology to provides operators with comprehensive information to inform decisions. Collect data and information from all points in the manufacturing process, identify key areas that can benefit from improvement to increase functionality

- Minimum BS degree in Industrial Engineering or related field desired
- Six Sigma/LEAN Manufacturing certification would be considered an asset
- Experience in manufacturing setting with progressive and technical responsibilities including project management. Continuous Improvement experience would be considered an asset.
- Ability to develop/recommend appropriate assembly & testing processes for products to determine reliability, durability, and performance characteristic. Highly knowledgeable about process flow, layouts, and standards
- Strong analytical skills/logic with the ability to put into action. Strong trouble shooting/problem solving skills
- Knowledge of various machinery including welding, machining, wash, press and material handling equipment
- Strong process/material flow aptitude and the ability to communicate knowledge. Broad exposure to manufacturing processes, tools, and equipment
- Familiar with drawing formats, units of measure, measuring tools and techniques
- Good understanding of OSHA, ANSI, LEAN Manufacturing, Kaizens, and the EPA as they relate to industry and industrial situations
- Walking, standing, stooping, bending, lifting, reaching. Overtime. Must be able to read SDS sheets.
