Traveling is required in 10-15% of the time.As part of the Industrial IoT Marketing team, you will lead our channel marketing programs for our various partners
You will use a high degree of independent initiative in this role to ensure continuous progress measured by impact to the business
This role will require a combination of partnership, sense of urgency, attention to detail and collecting and translating channel/market feedback into future program elements
The Channel Marketing Manager works cross-functionally with other groups within and outside of Cisco.Key ResponsibilitiesChannel Marketing Management: You will be responsible for the strategy, content and programs for various partners
This includes periodic analysis of channel performance across multiple dimensions and crafting driving innovative ideas to drive channel partner engagement and loyalty with Cisco.Channel Enablement: Continuously assess the channel partner’s needs and deliver differentiated channel enablement tools like learning programs, digital co-marketing, specification tools, demand generation activities etc.Communications Planning: Together with our route to market team, establish regular, effective communications for our channel partners including program updates, new product / promotional announcements, etc
Deliver continuous channel information and education via virtual (webinars) and in-person (conferences, quarterly business reviews, etc.) eventsDemand Generation: Support the development of marketing campaigns to generate sales leads
Support key product launches ensuring our partners are prepared for new technologies and new business models
Support partner event planning, execution and promotional activity, including support of creative development, deployment through the sales organization, and measurement of the results.Continuous Improvement: Capture VOC and conduct satisfaction surveys on marketing programs and activities
Measure results of partner activities and adjust as necessary.Minimum requirements:Experience of at least 5 years in channel marketingExperience in Enterprise NetworkingExperience improving sales trough third parties resellers/partners/channelsPreferred qualifications for this role:Experience in channel marketing in Industrial Networking, IoT
Proficiency in demand generation and lead generation strategies
Experience in using marketing automation platforms and CRM systemsProven success in developing and executing channel marketing strategies, content and programsStrong analytical and strategic thinking skills
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skillsAbility to build and maintain positive relationships with channel partners

For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target
Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
