Industrial Journeyman Electrician

Job Type: Temporary
Starting Pay: $27.00
Schedule: Field, Requires overtime and travel.
Compensation: $90 per day per diem.

Responsibilities

• Install cable wireways, cable, and terminate according to design drawings.
• Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems.
• Conduct terminations and able to properly connect motor controls, panels, PLCs, instrumentation, and switch gears.
• Supports team members to successfully complete projects.
• Read and comprehend blueprints, drawings, sketches, and plans.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment, i.e.: safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed boots and other PPE as required by specific jobs.

Requirements

• Industrial mechanical electrician 4+ years (required)
• NCCER or similar license (*preferred).
• Must have current valid driving license.
• OSHA 10 Certification
• Must be able to travel 100%

Skills

• Industrial electrician experience installing, troubleshooting, terminating, diagnosing, and repairing electrical components and machinery.
• Industrial electrical troubleshooting.
• Blueprints – Metric callouts and assembly drawings. European prints are a plus.

Qualifications

• Journeyman electrician or similar license or certified training.
• 4 years’ experience industrial electrician experience
• Knowledge of NEC code and standards.
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and standards.
• Knowledge with use of all electrical testing equipment
• Food & Beverage industry is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license
• Comfortable working at heights, in the elements, and in confined spaces.
