The Opportunity
As a Laborer with Tradebe, you will handle a variety of tasks at the plant related to moving drums and overall plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in container movements, process operations, housekeeping activities, and area inspections
- Assists area personnel to be compliant will all EH&S policies and regulations
- Assists in conducting daily area inspections
- Operates waste handling equipment safely
- Notifies Plant Supervisor, Operations Director and other plant authorities as necessary in emergency situations
- Takes emergency action on own authority if in accordance with established procedures
- Complies with the Facility's RCRA Permit
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Experience with operating a forklift and knowledge of the hazardous waste industry is a plus
- Ability to read, understand, and apply common operational documents, SOPs
- Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts; and the ability to define problems are required
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check is required
