Job description
• Operate and maintain machines used in the production process
• Remove completed parts from equipment and place in containers
• Select belts or other abrasives, according to materials, specs, finishes, etc.
• Identify proper measuring tools and measure readings accurately
• Work directly with Quality Department to identify and resolve any issues
• Complete and sign all necessary paperwork associated with parts
• Ensure established quality standards are maintained
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
• Gain understanding of company history, culture, identity, and goals
• Ensure all required personal protection equipment is used at all times
• Possibly use or operate forklifts, hand tools, lathes, and overhead cranes
• Help in other departments as needed or as instructed by supervisor
• Observe all safety practices by ensuring safety equipment or devices are in place and in good
working order before and during operation

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, frequently required to
stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and
talk or hear; operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination
including use of a computer keyboard. The employee is occasionally required to walk; climb or balance;
and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to
75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the
ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to work within hot environments up to 12 hours a day.
This position may include use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Proper use of PPE is required.
Attention: Work environment may cause Employees to come into contact with various metal
particulates such as nickel, cobalt, iron, and Tungsten Carbide. Please ask for a full list and MSDS from
the supervisor if there are any known metal or chemical allergies.
This position is important to the effectiveness of all operations and contributes to the overall
achievement of the organization's established quality objectives. The requirements listed are not the

perform any other related duties as required by the supervisor.
Drug-Free Workplace: All applicants must be able to pass an in-house drug screening on the first day
of orientation. The company performs monthly random drug testing.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
