Machinist
This is a full time direct hire opportunity
Pay: $35-45/hr
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate and program both manual and CNC machining equipment, including Bridgeport and Proto-Trak machines
- Demonstrate proficiency in machining various materials, such as aluminum, steel, and plastics
- Utilize CNC routers, plasma cutters, mills, and lathes with exceptional skill
- Program and operate CNC press brakes with precision
- Employ conversational programming techniques to streamline operations
- Maintain a keen eye for detail and ensure adherence to quality standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and enhance efficiency
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving efforts
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience as a manual and CNC machinist
- Proven expertise in operating Bridgeport and Proto-Trak machines
- Proficiency in CNC router, plasma cutter, mill, and lathe operations
- Familiarity with conversational programming for CNC machines
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Commitment to safety and adherence to industry standards and regulations
