Our client is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join the Maintenance Team in ensuring a smoothly-functioning industrial environment and implementing safety processes. What You’ll Do:

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and systems.
• Work with other team members to ensure safety in all aspects of the work and the environment.
• Propose and implement smart solutions to challenges in the manufacturing process.
• Introduce, conform to, and ensure adherence to safety policies, procedures, routines, and maintenance requirements.

What You’ll Bring:

• Knowledge of electrical theory and practice.
• Troubleshooting expertise with high voltage 480V motors and controls.
• Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), including CPUs, power supply, programming devices, and input and output (I/O) modules.
• Two or more years of experience in industrial plant electrical maintenance.
• Must be willing to work rotating shifts (four days on, four days off) with occasional scheduled and unscheduled overtime.
• Responsible, proactive, teamwork attitude that encourages and builds mutual respect with team members.
• Conflict resolution skills used effectively in coordination with others to achieve necessary goals.
• Problem-solving skills, and ability to service, repair, adjust and test machinery, systems and processes.
• Detail-oriented, thorough, with good communication and listening skills and good judgment.
• 2-year or 4-year degree in electrical or related field (desirable).
