Industrial Maintenance Manager 

Responsibilities

Main Roles and Responsibilities of Position

• Maintain the preventative maintenance (PM) program to meet plant performance goals.
• Collaborating with the production team to meet production planning and output.
• Prioritize maintenance requests, distribute daily job assignments, and review maintenance logs.
• Supervise and develop the maintenance team.
• Create and maintain a list of critical spare parts.
• Develop maintenance procedures compliant with health, safety, and environmental regulations at local, state, and federal levels.
• Record trend analysis on plant equipment, identify high-maintenance items, and determine causes of equipment failures through defect analysis.
• Lead continuous improvement activities to reduce maintenance/equipment downtime.
• Establish, implement, and maintain a maintenance budget for expendables and capital investments. Aim to reduce maintenance costs annually.
• Achieve forecasted profitability and efficiency targets determined together with the plant management
• Work with finance to make corrections to invoices and ensure payments are made on time.
• Maintain facility and highlight needed improvements.
• Establish, communicate, and monitor performance targets for all direct reports.
• Support all EHS activities.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable corporate policies and legislation.

• Coordinate contractor activitieson-site within the plant

• Apply lean manufacturing principles including Kaizen, 5S, standardization, visual controls, waste elimination and effective problem solving
• As a key plant Cullman management team member, ensure overall plant performance meets corporate targets and develops growth strategies

Important Individual Tasks

• Support plant Cullman in all critical situations including being on call.
• Continued reporting on projects according to REHAU rules and specific timelines established

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience Required

• Degree in Industrial Maintenance (Electrical/Mechanical), and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a production or maintenance management environment
• Familiar with ISO9001/ ISO 14001/ ISO 45001

Preferred Skills

• Preferred experience with extrusion processes.
• Automation equipment and have an understanding of PLC programs.
• Creative and open-minded personality, well organized, honest, willing to work hard and comfortable in a team environment
