JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Oversee all maintenance duties for plant, common areas and front offices.
- Coordinate, build and maintain a Preventative Maintenance Program.
- Maintain and repair all production equipment: pumps, high pressure pumps, ovens, scrubbers, plating equipment, etc.
- Maintain and repair all support equipment: boiler, air-compressors, vacuum pumps, air conditioning units, waste-water meters, water meters, etc.
- Interior building maintenance and repair including plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, carpentry, change light ballasts, bulb changes, furniture assembly and repairs, and any additional maintenance that may be required.
- Must have a working knowledge of and experience in plant maintenance operations.
- Daily utilities reading.
- Fabrication and manufacturing of equipment for production needs; product and process piping, steam lines, chemical lines, pneumatic lines, etc.
- Documentation of all schematic and diagram changes to keep plant record current.
- Must be able to work proficiently in all key areas.
- Responsible for reporting daily, work orders and activity reports.
- Knowledge of OSHA Requirements.
- Maintain equipment to meet all standards set by local, state and federal guidelines.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Safety and Compliance to ensure proper parameters are being met with equipment and tanks for external audits and inspections with OSHA, DEP, EPA and local agencies.
- Ensure all maintenance logs on equipment are up to date.
- Research and coordinate any repairs or retrofitting by outside contractors.
- Fill out requisition for parts or contractor work needed to purchasing.
- Coordinate subcontractors as needed and facilitate pricing, contracts and budgets with purchasing and management.
- Routine maintenance on AC units. (changing air filters).
- Strong communication with management and departments.
- Any other duties that may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance setting involving electronics, motor diagnosis and repair, instrumentation, electrical, mechanical and general repair and maintenance.
- Plumbing / Electrical experience required.
- Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills.
- Proficient in using hand tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
- Forklift experience – PCI will train and certify.
- A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Basic math reasoning required.
- Bi-lingual is a plus Spanish/English.
May be required to perform other duties as needed.

Monday - Thursday 7:00 am - 4:30 pm.
Friday 7:00 am - 11:00 am.
