Industrial Maintenance Technician
Mid-level maintenance technician who safely plans and performs all operations necessary to modify, repair and maintain complicated machinery.

Mid-level maintenance technician who safely plans and performs all operations necessary to modify, repair and maintain complicated machinery.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and independently adjusts, repairs and maintains mechanical systems; completes some basic electrical system repairs.
- Utilizing support, maintains conveyors, paint systems and chemical processes.
- Maintains, performs and reports on preventative maintenance on all plant support equipment.
- Utilizes drawings, schematics and hydraulic diagrams to evaluate, make recommendations and resolve problems.
- Interprets and applies a variety of technical instructions.
- Communicate technical issues to others and evaluate responses in a group setting.
- Conducts equipment installation (air, gas, rigging) under the support and direction of experienced technicians.
- Maintains 5S compliant work area.
- Must certify and maintain certifications to use powered industrial vehicles and overhead cranes.
- Understands and complies with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements.
- Performs special projects as requested and related tasks as needed.
- Successful completion of the apprenticeship program or HS Diploma/ GED plus 2-5 years of maintenance manufacturing experience.
- English language competency required.
- Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems
- Ability to read drawings, schematics and hydraulic diagrams.
- Must certify and maintain valid certification on all powered industrial vehicles and overhead crane operations for the facility. Certifications must be achieved within 30 days of position start.
- Two Year degree in Maintenance Technology preferred.
- Two or more years of demonstrated maintenance experience in a similar environment preferred
- Basic understanding of electrical systems including relays, motors and switches.
- Previous powered industrial truck and overhead crane experience
