Location: Chippewa Falls, WI
Salary: $33.75-$41.75/hour (nights), based on skills and experience

What you’ll be working on
The Shift Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for preventive maintenance and repair on equipment used in the production of bottled water packages on our high-speed line.
- Operates blow molding machinery and ensures through constant observation and routine inspections that high quality product is being produced.
- Performs basic cleaning and preventative maintenance of equipment.
- Detect jams or malfunctions and make adjustments as necessary.
- Measure and visually inspect products for surface and dimension defects in order to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
- Set up and operate blow molding machines to mold PET bottles.
- Install dies onto machines or presses, then coat dies with parting agents, according to work order specifications.
- Use a forklift to store palletized bottles in the warehouse for transport and load/unload trailers.
- Listen to machines during operation in order to detect sounds such as those made by dull cutting tools or excessive vibration and adjust machines to compensate for problems.

About you – preferred requirements for this role
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 years previous experience, including welding, electrical trouble-shooting, and performing PM’s on equipment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills are required
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills
- Knowledge of the blow/injection molding processes, procedures, and machinery.
- Computer experience is required.
- Forklift experience (certification required within 90 days of hire date)

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration.
